Emotional Intelligence Training
Training Program Introduction
TalentSmart® offers dynamic one and two day trainings in emotional intelligence. Our program features
assessments and experiential exercises to ensure participants practice new behaviors while they learn.
The program also features short segments of Hollywood movies, television and historical events to bring
emotional intelligence to life and make the experience "real" for participants. The program moves far
beyond a theoretical introduction to emotional intelligence, and into a dynamic learning experience that
bridges the gap from learning to doing.
Delivery
A cadre of seasoned TalentSmart® trainers are available to deliver the program in the one or two day format
at the site of your choosing. Or, you can attend our certification workshop and learn to deliver the program
yourself. Certification includes license to deliver the program and ownership of your own set of program materials.

The EQ Learning™ Program
Introduce your group to emotional intelligence in a 1 or 2 day session.
Either way, EQ Learning™ covers everything you need to boost emotional
intelligence and job performance. Our program is based on the four core
skills from the #1 emotional intelligence model, and uses the groundbreaking
strategies and research introduced by Drs. Bradberry and Greaves in the
Emotional Intelligence Quickbook.
Day 1 - Discovering Emotional Intelligence
Introduces participants to emotional intelligence and teaches development strategies in each of the four
emotional intelligence skills. The program includes a self-assessment and a goal-setting process designed to
bring emotional intelligence skills from the classroom back to the workplace. Day 1 can be delivered as a stand
alone workshop, or as the first segment of a two day event.
Day 2 - Developing Emotional Intelligence
Explores advanced emotional intelligence strategies designed to boost the learning of participants who are
already aware of emotional intelligence skills and have been actively using them in the workplace. Exercises
include advanced peer review and coaching, in-depth movie interpretation, and a multi-rater assessment to bring
additional feedback to participants on their current skill level. Goal setting tracks progress since the first
session and sets new goals to take participant's to the next level of emotional intelligence.
